Layout: symmetrical. The stag in a garden refers to Psalm XLII:2 'As the hart panteth after the waterbrooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God!'. The spies of Canaan, Joshua and Caleb refer to Numbers 13:23. The Dutch Maiden with the liberty cap in the Dutch Garden is a symbol of freedom.
