About this work
Work sampler with colored embroidery. On the sampler the year 1749 is embroidered and the initials HKT, MD, GVD, LDT and in a wreath held by angels KT and 1749. Furthermore on the sampler a Dutch maiden in a garden, the tree of life with Adam and Eve, flower pots, a lantern and candlesticks with candles are embroidered. Silk on linen gauze.
