Central field: the symmetrical doubled and twice repeated pattern shows from bottom to top eight scenes: 1 Jacob gives Esau a dish of lentils for the birthright. 2 Esau shoots with a bow at a deer. 3 Isaac blesses Jacob in the presence of Rebekah.
