About this work
Linen damask tablecloth. Oval fields with inward-pointing scalloped edges carry a bouquet of flowers derived from a pomegranate, emerging from a flattened sphere with bracts. Inner fillings of lattice work. Rosettes at the points of contact, loose flower branches in the curves. Two narrow borders, the inner one with a double row of linked octagons with a star motif, the outer one with a running flower scroll. Surrounding: T-border.
