About this work
Butter dish of porcelain with two upright handles, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, purple and gold. On the outer wall twice a fan-shaped and twice a scalloped compartment containing a flower vase or bowl. Above the foot and below the rim a band with a zigzag pattern. On the inner rim a wavy line.
