About this work

Bedstead of rosewood, decorated with ivory inlay. The bed rests on vase-shaped feet. The front and sides are divided into panels by rails. On the front, between the corner posts resting on vase-shaped sections, an arched gallery. The headboard is crowned with a superstructure with a headpiece decorated with Moorish motifs in ivory. The claw feet have inlay with double eagles. The bed has a canopy and curtains of silk damask. From the house in Buren (Gld)?
