Bed from "Het Huis van Alva", Warmoesstraat, Amsterdam

Bed alcove of oak. On the front, corner posts with Ionic half-columns. The headpiece has a console in the center flanked by scrollwork ornaments with rosewood diamond heads. The column bases feature grotesque lion heads. The front panel has four panels. The panel at the head of the bed has three rows of panels and a cornice with ebony triglyphs. The foot end has two rows of panels and a baluster gallery. From the "House of Alva", Warmoesstraat Amsterdam.
