About this work
Walnut chair with upholstery of blue-green cloth, on the back decorated with an embroidered coat of arms with the Dutch lion, a royal crown and a motto. The conical fluted legs, decorated with calyx leaves, are narrowed at the top, above which a crown supports the corner volutes of the trapezium-shaped seat frame. H-shaped cross with leaf motifs, like on the rails, and a rosette. High back frame on decorated supports with concave stiles and lower rail; semi-circular upper rail with volutes and wreath.
