About this work

Collar of natural-coloured bobbin lace: Brabantine Valenciennes lace. Half-circular model. The pattern has a border on the outer side and ends consisting of alternating three vine leaves and three roses. On the inner side, under the vine leaves, stand five arch-shaped ornaments with zigzags and godrons. The motifs are bobbin-worked in very closed linen stitch and are connected to each other by a square Valenciennes ground.
