About this work

Chair belonging to a set of six upholstered walnut chairs and one armchair, resting on diagonally placed straight S-shaped legs on box hooves, which merge into the seat frame. The rounded, scalloped front seat frame carries decorations in a floral motif; as does the upper rail of the long upholstered back frame which is slightly scalloped at the bottom and sides. The straight S-shaped armrests are supported by rearward placed straight S-shaped supports with volute and acanthus leaf decoration.
