About this work
Chair belonging to an ameublement consisting of six upholstered walnut chairs and one armchair, resting on obliquely placed straight S-shaped legs on hoof feet, which merge into the apron. The rounded, slightly scalloped front apron bears floral ornamentation; as does the top rail of the elongated upholstered backrest, which is slightly scalloped at the bottom and sides. The straight S-shaped armrests are supported by rearward-placed straight S-shaped stretchers with volute and acanthus leaf ornamentation.
