Sugar spoon with the Clifford family coat of arms

The round, deep bowl has a flat base and a lobed wall, surrounded by a flat rim. It is pierced with a star-shaped pattern of hearts, points, and rays, alternately crowned by points arranged in triangles and by a stylized leaf motif. The eight lobes are pierced with a pattern of a lozenge surrounded by four stylized leaves. The flat, curved stem, which widens toward the pointed tip, splits at the junction with the bowl. It is surrounded at the top by a cable border. On the upper side of the stem, the Clifford coat of arms with crest and supporters is engraved.
