About this work

Armchair of mahogany resting on four S-shaped legs. The oval back is surrounded by pierced symmetrical volutes and crowned by a shell motif. The arm supports, the seat frame and the legs are decorated with pierced flower and leaf motifs. The upholstery of light red tripe was added later.
