Oil and vinegar set with the Clifford family coat of arms

On four tapering downwards, curved, ribbed feet rests the pointed oval, vaulted, decorated with two fillet edges basement with bottle holder. This is built up from four flat, widening upwards, ribbed feet upon which an oval plateau is found with two large and two small openings, in which two large and two small bottles of colourless glass, decorated in various cutting work, fit. The upper part of each bottle is set in a silver mount which is decorated with a fillet edge, where-under it tapers to a point at the front and back. On the mount a hinged swallow-shaped lid provided with a handle is attached. The, presumably English, bottles have high-rising, curved, grooved silver ears, which run from just above the bottle foot to under the flap lid.
