About this work
One of the two smaller colorless glass bottles, decorated with various cuttings, fits. The upper part of the bottle is mounted in silver, decorated with a gadrooned edge, from which it tapers to a point at the front and back. A hinged, snowflake-shaped lid with a handle is attached to the mount. The, presumably English, bottle has a tall, rising, curved, fluted silver ear that extends from just above the foot of the bottle to below the hinged lid.
