Tapestry with Alexander the Great kneeling before Jaddua, high priest of Jerusalem, scene taken from the Jewish Histories, XI by Flavius Josephus. From a series of nine tapestries with scenes of Alexander the Great. Marked H D (Holland, Delft) and the coat of arms of Delft, signed 'I.KMANDER FECIT'.
