About this work

Mirror in a walnut frame decorated with marquetry in various wood types and bone. The quarter-round profiled frame features outwardly curved fields at the corners, filled with acanthus scrolls and flowers. A similar field appears in the center of the long sides, with bouquets in vases formed by acanthus leaves. The center of the short sides shows a circular field with flowers. The glass has a glass frame with imitation copper fittings.
