About this work
Lectern with Bible. The lectern is made of teak and ironwood. The rectangular top has a molded raised edge at the bottom and rests on a twisted stem, standing on a round, wide, molded base on three spheres angled outward. The Bible in a leather binding with brass corner mounts and a brass clasp was printed in 1716 by Pieter Keur in Dordrecht.
