Central field: the symmetrically doubled pattern shows four scenes: 1 Elijah and the false prophets of Baäl; caption: III REGV ELIAS CAPI XVII (cut through). 2 Elijah flees to Mount Horeb. In the middle the mountain top; caption: MONS OREB. On the outside a kneeling bearded figure in profile, with bread and drinking vessel; caption ELIAS. Above him the angel who feeds him. As a closing a tree (halved) with oak leaves and acorns (the Bible speaks of a juniper tree). 3 Elijah's ascension in the fiery chariot. Two rearing horses facing the middle in front of a rearing chariot, with flaming wheels, in which Elijah with raised arms. Below him clouds and flames.
