About this work

Hat of black straw and ostrich feathers. Broad brim, slightly turned up at the back, cylindrical crown, like a boater. At the back the crown is decorated with a large piece of moiré ribbon. From here two long ostrich feathers are laid on the brim and a short plume stands upright.
