Stola of bobbin lace with symmetrical floral motifs and scallop border

Stole of natural-colored bobbin lace: blonde. Scalloped edge of large leaves with above it a flower branch. Symmetrical pattern in the middle field, with five symmetrical flower and leaf motifs on both sides of central flower and leaf motif that is similar but slightly larger. The sixth and largest flower and leaf motif from the middle, at the two ends, is symmetrical over the length axis. The motifs are largely made in linen stitch and net stitch and are provided with shiny contour threads. The motifs are connected to each other by a lattice ground, a tulle ground. In various flowers a decorative ground is applied and with or without a grid made with contour threads. The shell edge with semi-circular shells around the stole, are finished with picots.
