About this work

Christening gown of white cotton or linen batiste with tulle appliqué. Along the neck and armholes the dress is trimmed with a scalloped festooned edge and on the skirt with three wide lace strips. Added a waistless petticoat, a pair of loose sleeves with a border of bobbin lace and a shirt of cotton. Ribbon lace.
