About this work

A baptismal gown of extra fine embroidered batiste, with ribbon belt and a skirt scalloped all around. Model: medium length, bodice with flounces and strips; skirt with standing scalloped edges originally a bridal veil. Puff sleeves with flounces and broken staff motif. Along scalloped edges embroidery in stripe form, winding vine and triple flower branches.
