Baby dress of fine linen with pleats and strips of machine-made English embroidery, Belle Epoque. Model: long, smooth bodice, boat neck, short raglan sleeve. Skirt panels attached with six flat pleats, slightly flared, cut diagonally, with ruffles gathering at the bottom. Band at neckline and waist. Strips of cotton with machine-made English embroidery along neckline, sleeves, and hem. Dress machine-sewn. Netherlands, ca. 1890?
