About this work

Fragment of a silk weave with an incomplete, asymmetrical pattern: a tree facing left has a knotty main trunk of ochre, which is cut off. On side branches grow loose crowns of hand-shaped leaves in yellow-green, blue-green, and black. Cut off at the base. Top part visible of a clump of reeds in lemon yellow with pinkish plumes. Top right, a hanging branch with red and pink flowers. Note: compare with bk-1965-76: same pattern with different colors.
