Insert of bobbin lace, semicircular design with three-lobed leaves formed by a ribbon

Insert of natural-colored bobbin lace: fine Bruges floral work. Half-circular model. The motifs are formed by a ribbon worked in linen stitch with a shiny contour thread and openwork edges. The narrow straight ribbon forms the outline of the insert. The continuous ribbon forms three-lobed indentations on the round side of the half-circular insert. In this way it forms three leaves each with three lobes in the insert. A V-shaped line made with an equally wide ribbon forms a dividing line between the part with the leaves and the field above where a row of loose circles or blocks hang between fine braids with picots. The motifs are connected with fine braids with picots. The braids form stars in the field between the leaves.
