About this work

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Eastern European lace. The strip consists of two semi-circular scallops. The repeating pattern consists of a stylized half-flower where the petals are formed by a strongly winding narrow ribbon. In the center of the flower is a pinecone-shaped motif formed by the continuous winding ribbon. The top side of the strip is finished straight, the scallop edge is finished with picots.
