About this work
Sugar pot of porcelain with an egg-shaped body, painted on the glaze in blue and gold. The body is covered with vertical bands with alternating blue floral vines or garlands against a gold background and loose flowers, and a gold leafy vine that winds around a gold and blue line. Gold foot and rim. The lid with the same decoration and a finial in the form of a flower. Marked on the underside with the crowned CT beneath a 7, H2, and OC.
