Mitten of black bobbin lace with bouquet of roses and floral garlands

Mitten of black bobbin lace: Chantilly lace. The pattern on the back of the hand consists of a bouquet with roses, rosebuds, berries and leaves. Around the bouquet flower garlands with smaller flowers. On the thumb piece stands a large leaf. The edge along the upper side consists of a row of linked rosette flowers, with an arch under each flower. The edge along the lower side consists of a row of linked openwork circles. All edges are finished with picots. The motifs are made in net stitch and are accented by contour threads. The motifs are connected to each other by a tulle ground.
