About this work
Mitten of black bobbin lace: Chantilly lace. Straight model with hollow side lines. The pattern is symmetrical on both sides and features a large iris and hanging cluster and bell flowers. The motifs are made in net stitch and accentuated by contour threads. The motifs are connected by a tulle ground. In the flower center of the iris, a decorative ground is applied, a rose ground. All edges are finished with picots.
