About this work

Jabot of natural-colored appliqué lace: bobbin lace on needle lace ground. This type of lace is also known as point d'Angleterre. The jabot consists of two layers with a pattern of C-shaped volutes, flowers, leaves, and rosettes. The scalloped edges are finished with picots.
