About this work

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Russian lace. The pattern consists of an openwork oval shell with nine lobes around it. The motifs are made in linen stitch, the lobes with curved bands with square meshes. In the center of the shell is a flower or star made with triangles made with plaits and around it triangles made in shaped stitch. The upper side of the strip is finished straight. The lobes around the shell are finished with picots.
