About this work
Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Russian lace. The pattern consists of an openwork round shell with seven lobes around it. The motifs are made in linen stitch, the lobes with curved bands with square meshes. In the center of the shell is a flower or star made with diamonds made with picoted plaits. The upper side of the strip is finished straight. The lobes around the shell are finished with picots.
