Tablecloth of linen damask with a historical scene

Linen damask tablecloth with homage to Joseph I. The pattern repeats three times in length and features the following scenes: a rider, the inscription VI VAT IOSEPHVS and RYSSEL, a city, the inscription MALPLACQVE, fighting soldiers and riders, on scrollwork the crowned coats of arms of the Duke of Marlborough and Prince Eugene of Savoy, and below on scrollwork and trophies the crowned coat of arms of the Holy Roman Empire with the Austrian heart shield. The borders have cartouches containing cities.
