About this work
Oak table with a hexagonal top resting on three obliquely placed panels that also serve as legs. The panels are triangular with their sharp corners resting on the ground and their right angles touching each other just below the top. The panels are partially openwork in a stylized fern motif. At the corners where the panels meet on the upper side, profiled panels are attached with black dots. The table top of coromandel wood is hexagonal and rests on the panels by means of a star-shaped framework on the underside.
