About this work

Table of coromandel wood in an oval shape. The table rests on four curved legs that bend inward. The tabletop of brown-spotted marble is set in a wide, double-curved frame. The frame contains carved floral, vine, and leaf motifs. The upper edge is partially inlaid with green lacquer. The lower edge curves in the corners into the legs. Between the legs is an intermediate panel of the same gray-spotted marble within a frame in a curved diamond shape.
