About this work

Armchair of red-stained elm wood resting on four legs that taper towards the bottom. The front legs feature a profile on the front and continue into the arm supports. The rear legs continue into the back stiles and have a rounded top. The side walls consist of three flat, stacked rails. Below this, a wide rail is attached, and above it, the armrests are set into the back stiles. Both the backrest and the seat are upholstered in green artificial material with a diamond pattern and rosettes, secured with copper nails. The backrest upholstery is stretched over the top rail with curved sides.
