About this work

Armchair made of mahogany resting on four legs. The legs curve from the lower stretcher into the armrests. The lower stretcher contains carved floral motifs. The armrests extend outward. The rear legs curve into the back rails. The back rails feature carved leaves on a long stem on the front and are inlaid with a dot of ebony. The seat, backrest, armrests, and side panels are upholstered in green leather with leaf motifs.
