About this work

Armchair of mahogany resting on four legs. The legs run from the bottom rail curved into the armrests. The bottom rail contains carved floral motifs. The armrests stand outwards. The back legs run into the back stiles. The back stiles contain carved leaves on a long stem on the front and are inlaid with a dot of ebony. The seat, backrest, armrests and side walls are upholstered with green-colored tripe with leaf motifs.
