About this work

The chair is upholstered in green woolen tripp with yellow-brown and purple leaf motifs. The diagonally placed front legs are slightly S-shaped; the straight rear legs continue into the back rails, ending in a volute. The seat rails are profiled at the top and corner pieces are located below the rails. The upper rail of the upholstered back shows a leaf motif in the center; arched lower rail. The outward-sloping upholstered armrests end in a volute; S-shaped stretchers.
