About this work

The back and seat are upholstered in green woolen tapestry with yellow-brown and purple leaf motifs. The front legs placed diagonally are slightly S-shaped; the straight rear legs continue into the back stiles, ending in a volute. The seat rails are profiled at the top and wavy corner pieces are located below the rails. The seat cushion flares towards the top. The upper rail of the back shows carved leaf motifs; arched lower rail. See: BK-1970-93-B to E.
