About this work

Pothoed of braided black silk and gold thread. Bands of crocheted (?) mixed threads, of black and gold, laid around from the crown and worked in with two circular bands of black band straw, in a pattern of floral motifs. High dome and small, hanging brim, widened at the sides. Wide, draped gold brocade forms the hatband. On the left a corsage of two beige rosebuds. Address: HUT/L. Co/WIEN, Wiener Mode.
