About this work

Ladies' shoe in black satin with an ankle strap. Model: Rounded pointed toe, one vamp and two quarters. The cutout of the vamp extends to halfway along the instep. The quarters begin halfway along the instep. The quarters run up in a rounded corner at the top of the instep. An ankle strap is attached to the right quarter. On the left quarter, a black plastic button with a metallic button in the center is attached via a metal eyelet. The front of the heel runs straight down in a rounded corner. The sides and back of the narrow heel are waisted and covered in black satin. Leather back flap with five nails fastened to the heel and a leather sole. Quarters lined with cream-colored ribbed cotton. Vamp lined with cream-colored cotton. The insole is made of cream-colored ribbed cotton. Decoration: suede strap with silver cord around the edge of the strap. Presumably intended to be placed just left of the center of the cutout of the forefoot. The clasp of the strap is missing.
