About this work

A flat cylindrical corner box of brown imitation ribbed leather, with a recessed base. The interior is lined with paper printed with a pattern of flowers in black, yellow, white and blue. The lid is attached to the box with a hinge. The box can be closed by means of a strap with a buckle. There is also a lock on the box. On the lid are the family initials of Van der Does.
