About this work
Mother-of-pearl mount of 16 connected legs with an openwork cartouche in the middle eight legs in which a symmetrical motif with leaf garlands is carved. The stakes in the support part are of ivory. The leaf of Brussels needle lace (point de gaze de Bruxelles) has a symmetrical pattern with a central cartouche containing a bouquet of flowers flanked by leaf and flower motifs. Metal fan ring with extra loop and locking pin with rhinestone.
