Gown of cream-white crêpe de chine with wide skirt with smocking at the hips and blouson bodice with loose, tunic-like panels provided with embroidery in white and light green silk; 'en canadienne'. Model: ankle-length, with gathered skirt at the waist. Low round neck (probably torn loose and repaired in the past?) and loose long sleeves with gathered cuffs that fall over the hand. Blouson bodice, gathered yokes on the shoulders and open hems in the side seams. Front and back loose hanging panel, which must create the impression of a tunic. Belt of soft green satin, worked diagonally on the grain. Skirt lined with cotton batiste; bodice provided with boning and same lining trimmed with a narrow strip of lace. Decoration: embroidery of star-shaped 'flowers' between fern-like ornaments.
