Medallion Dress, so-called MEDAILLONUSHAK

Medallion carpet, so-called MEDAILLONUSHAK. Central field: cherry-red ground, upon which a sapphire-blue hexagonal medallion with a wide swirled outline in light turquoise green. In the center, a fine red eight-pointed star with four radiating symmetrical palmettes with light blue, white, and yellow motifs and four light red arabesque leaves on slender stems. Around it also grow two darker red and two yellow arabesques and two pairs of large cup flowers. At the top and bottom of the medallion, each a blue palmette. In the corners, star medallions - slightly higher than a quarter star - in bottle green with yellow-bordered red arabesques and palmettes. Field filling with solid cobalt-blue branched whimsical leaf vines. Border: sapphire-blue border with palmette flowers in red, light blue, and yellow, alternated with leaves in red, upon which small flowers in loose rosettes in blue, yellow, green, and brown.
