Prayer carpet, so-called Transylvanian

Prayer carpet, so-called Seven Provinces. Central field: in a double lacquer-red mihrab with high, irregularly contoured gables, a yellow vase with symmetrical palmette and rosette flowers in yellow/blue/white on transverse stems in brown, with hooked volutes, stands in each top. Just above the middle, two carnations and a pair of angular arabesques. The spandrels are blue, each with a rosette flower in white/red, including a tulip and a lance leaf. Border: triple. The main border is yellow with leaf stems grouped into octagons, diagonally colored in blue/red and blue/ochre, enclosing a rosette with four of them. The inner selvage is black with colored diagonal S-shapes. The outer selvage is red with X's and star rosettes, along which runs an inner border with stretched S-shapes.
