About this work
Flower carpet, Talish or Karabagh. Central field: narrow ochre field with block grid with rectangles connected. Within the meshes each time one star flower in red, blue and brown. Border: quadruple. The second and widest is plain ice blue with widely spread volute flowers in red, white, umber and green. Equal inner and outer selvages of red with square flowers. The outer border of crenellations in blue and dark brown.
