About this work
Saddlebag, Kurdistan. The central field is decorated with crossed vines with leaves forming a lozenge. Four rosette flowers emerge from the central lozenge. Border with roses and leaves. A beard with slits on one side, opposite which are closing loops of goat hair on the back. The back is of flat weave with transverse stripes.
